SHIPFIWI EXPRESS
PACKAGE HANDLING & STORAGE POLICY
Effective Date: 2026
ShipFiwi Express requires customers to collect packages promptly after receiving notification that their packages are available.
1. Collection Period
Customers are expected to collect their packages within 7 consecutive days of being notified that the package is available for collection.
The seven-day period includes weekends and public holidays.
2. Storage Fee
If a package is not collected within 7 consecutive days, a storage fee of JMD $100 per day will be incurred for each additional day the package remains uncollected.
The storage fee will continue to accumulate until the package is collected or otherwise handled in accordance with this policy.
3. Minimum Storage Period
Packages will be retained for a minimum period of one month, subject to applicable operational and legal requirements.
4. Unclaimed Packages
Where a package remains unclaimed after the minimum retention period, ShipFiwi Express reserves the right to take appropriate action, which may include auctioning, disposing of, or otherwise handling the package in accordance with applicable requirements and company procedures.
5. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
• Monitoring package
notification
• Keeping their contact
information updated
• Collecting packages promptly
• Paying any applicable storage fees
ShipFiwi Express is not responsible for costs resulting from a customer's failure to collect a package within the required timeframe.
