FUEL SURGE CHARGE POLICY

Effective Date: 2026

ShipFiwi Express may apply a Fuel Surge Charge to shipments in addition to the customer's normal applicable shipping rate.

1. Fuel Surge Charge

Effective 2026, a Fuel Surge Charge of JMD $50 per pound will apply alongside the normal applicable pound-weight shipping charge.

The Fuel Surge Charge is an additional fee and is not included in the standard shipping rate.

2. Calculation

The Fuel Surge Charge will be calculated based on the applicable chargeable weight of the package.

For example:

Package Weight: 10 lbs
Fuel Surge Charge: 10 × JMD $50
Surge Charge: JMD $500

The normal shipping charge will still apply separately.

3. Applicability

The Fuel Surge Charge may apply to eligible shipments received during periods in which ShipFiwi Express has implemented the charge.

Customers should review current shipping rates and applicable charges before collecting their packages.

4. Changes to the Charge

ShipFiwi Express reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or discontinue the Fuel Surge Charge when operational, carrier, fuel, transportation, or other business conditions change.

Any applicable changes may be communicated through our website, customer notices, or other official communication channels.

5. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all applicable shipping charges and fees associated with their shipments.
